Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice! 💀🖤
Over 30 years after its release, Beetlejuice remains one of the most iconic cult classic movies ever made. The unforgettable mix of gothic glam, quirky humor, and supernatural chaos has kept fans obsessed with characters like Lydia Deetz and the mischievous Beetlejuice himself. With the highly anticipated Beetlejuice sequel on the way, it’s the perfect time to revisit this strange and beloved world—and what better way to celebrate than with a collection of Beetlejuice-inspired jewelry?
I’ve created new designs based on the most iconic scenes from the first Beetlejuice movie. Expect bold stripes, whimsical details, and a nod to that signature spooky aesthetic. Whether you’re a Lydia at heart or want to embrace a little Beetlejuice chaos, these pieces are designed for those who love standing out and embracing their unique style.
In this post, I’ll walk you through how the original movie’s style influenced my designs, and how you can bring some of that Beetlejuice magic into your everyday looks. Keep reading for a breakdown of each piece and the scenes that inspired them—and get ready to channel your inner Beetlejuice for the sequel!
Astrid Deetz, played by Jenna Ortega - Feeling like the adorn necklace would imbue her with magical powers to transcend the underworld.
Who can forget when Barbara, played by Gena Davis, tried to make herself become more ghoulish to try to scare the Deetz' out of her house? We paired this scene with a Peridot Libra Necklace.
If you haven't seen the original - GO NOW - and come back when you understand this iconic reference. Miss Argentina had the most stunning make up and we love how this Ruby Virgo Necklace would pair so nicely with her gown.
We can't forget a reference to the ICONIC striped suit worn by Beetlejuice himself. Played by Michael Keaton (aka Batman), we love the look of the Prospect Hoops to go with it. Do you agree?
Wolf Jackson, played by Willem Dafoe can only be one thing: slimy. I'm willing to bet he would stack all the cards his way if he was able to. That's why we think You are Strong and Gentle go well - maybe he needs a little extra boost for his ego.
Delores, played by Monica Bellucci is new to the sequel and to be honest, she scares the crap out of us. Rewrite your story seems fitting because it looks like she has the power and prowess to dominate and make her story whatever she wants it to be.
Oh Lydia Deetz. Do you remember when Winona Ryder wore this red wedding dress in the original movie? I-C-O-N-I-C. We paired it with simple Garnet Libra studs.
It feels like the Mantra collection was entirely made to align with the Beetlejuice world. What better necklace than the See Beyond necklace for the memorable scene in which Delia Deetz (you know her as Moira Rose, but her real name is Catherine O'hara) hosts a seance and Beetlejuice makes them all sing and dance with intensity!Â
I really loved all of Delia's outfits and statement jewelry in the movie, so I gave her another combination - this is our Gemini Ring and I feel like it is such a powerful statement in garnet.
Another fun statement piece is the Gemini Ring in Black Spinel - I feel like it encompasses Delia's energy and matches her school uniform from the end of the original movie. I bet you can imagine the song that's playing right now too! (Hint, it's Jump In The Line)
Last but certainly not least is Barbara's wedding dress paired with our Rainbow Moonstone Aquarius necklace. It's simple and to the point, but powerful, much like Barbara - who came to see her strengths as a forever-dead in the end.Â
Alright, now it’s your turn! Which look is giving you life? Drop a comment and let me know your fave—and why it’s totally your vibe.
