LanaBetty returns to Circle Craft this Holiday Season
It brings us great joy to share that this year, LanaBetty will be back at Circle Craft for their fortieth annual christmas market.
The Circle Craft Christmas Market has been a Vancouver tradition for over four decades and has traditionally began the holiday shopping season in the city. The market attracts some 20,000 people eager to discover the creations of hundreds of Canadian artisans all of whom are july-selected based on talent and diversity.
Circle Craft features artisans from coast to coast: BC craftspeople from communities such as Whaletown, Quathiaski Cove, North Vancouver, Vernon, Duncan, Gibsons, and Vancouver will showcase the very best of this province. We are so very proud to count ourselves among some of the hardest working, inspiring, and creative artists from across Canada.
This year, we will be in booth D26 and would love to see you!

Why is Circle Craft special? As a juried market, it means that we must first submit our application (for us, it was 30 pages), which includes an artist CV (outlining our training, apprenticeships, publications, fashion shows, and market history), an artist statement (why we do what we do and how we do it), product photography, an essay detailing the steps and process of what makes our jewelry distinct and unique, and all of the usual things like insurance, an application form, social media, the list goes on. The market takes all of that information, distills it down and a team of ten jurors reviews each and every application. They decide if our application can make the cut to be included. It's all very official.
To be honest, we didn't get in the first (or second) time we applied! On our third try, we were selected mid-summer when another artist dropped out. Jewelry is highly competitive and
